Where does Greening Australia work?

Greening Australia aims to tackle Australia’s greatest environmental challenges which means that we need to work across many strategic locations across the nation. To find specific information regarding where we work, you can use the interactive map on our website which details the location of our projects across our five key programs – Great Southern Landscapes, Reef Aid, Nature in Cities, Thriving on Country and Tasmanian Island Ark. Or check out our vast suite of projects here in the Year in Review.

How much does it cost to plant a tree?

Greening Australia works to tackle Australia’s greatest environmental challenges through large-scale restoration activities in priority landscapes across the country. Because of this, the cost to plant a tree is dependent on the terrain, species, and long-term maintenance of restoration activities. Your donation to Greening Australia goes directly to supporting on ground works and to our mission to plant half a billion trees and restore 330,000 hectares by 2030. An option to showcase your support to Greening Australia may be to say “$X donation to Greening Australia per order placed which would go directly to tree planting activities and our 2030 vision to plant over 500,000,000 native trees and shrubs!”
